NASA shirt

Oh, I love this.

LOVE it!  I'm a huge NASA fan.  I still shed a tear now and again over the lose of the shuttle program.  Ugh.  I can't believe we have to hitch rides to the space station that everyone else is building.

It's offered by Thinkgeek.

It's a little pricey at $79.99, but apparently, that is not really pricey for bicycle gear.  That is what this jersey is.  It's a bicycle jersey.  It's has space age (Don't you love that phrase.  No, me either) fabric that supposedly keeps moisture off and odors away.

So, if you bicycle and love NASA, then this is your dream jersey.  If you should bicycle, but don't and love NASA, then you are in the same boat as me.

Something for the Geeky List Makers

I share my life with a geek.  A geek that makes lists.  All the time.  She also loves little notebooks to make these important lists in.  My best bud was also a list maker.  The guy always had a moleskin on him.  Well, I have the perfect combination for the geeky list maker.  The Battlestar Galactica Lined Notebook.  7.25" x 5.25" with 224 pages.  You know you want one.  $24.99 each.  (Ouch, wtf? and why?)  Thinkgeek has them & so does Entertainment Earth.

Comic Con is ON, ya'll!

It's that time again kids!  Comic Con!  I am again, not there.  : (  One day.  Of course, I've heard a lot about how it's just a big merchandise venue now & no longer about comics & the comic writers & artists.  That's a little sad.  It is about the action figures though!  I've already seen a whole slew of awesome things being prepped & displayed.  I will update this post with exciting new awesomeness the rest of this week and into the weekend.

I can already show you a few things I've come across!

The pic above is a Sideshow Collectibles 1:6 scale Darth Malgus!

I've also learned that the Science Channel is going to film the Firefly panel at SDCC and turn it into a Documentary called "Browncoats Unite" and that it will be aired November 11, 2012 as part of an all day Firefly marathon on the Science Channel.

Very cool.

Quantum Mechanix has a beautiful Enterprise D that are showing off.  It's all glowy.
Ohhhh.....Ahhh.....

Thinkgeek announced Portal 2 guns.

Then there's this:

Drool.  From Sideshow.
And this:

Also from Sideshow.  Pictures provided via Yodanews.com.

So yeah.  So far, some amazing stuff.

Umm...yes, please!!!

Thinkgeek has this.  What is it you ask?  Why only a panic button light switch.  That's right, it's an ordinary light switch cover made to look like a panic button.  You can smack the light on or off or, get this, you can use it as a dimmer.  Personally, I'm smacking it.  It calls out to be smacked!

2 3/4" x 4 1/4" brushed aluminium with a big bright red plastic button/knob.

$24.99

Don't Blink

I don't know why, but I want these.

They are electronic googly eyes. They blink. How cool is that?

I simply adore googly eyes. ThinkGeek has them for $29.99 on sale.

Swiftwind

Okay Masters of the Universe & She-Ra collectors, listen up! You absolutely have to have this one! It's She-Ra's faithful steed Swiftwind from the Master's of the Universe Classics line!

You can order it from the Big Bad Toystore for $47.99 plus S&H, Brian's Toys has it for $79.99, Amazon has them from $42 - $60, Ebay has them listing from $17.00 on up. Some of the Ebayers have Swiftwind combined with the MOTU Classic She-Ra.

I would also like to point out a cool shirt you might want to snag if you are a big She-Ra fan. ThinkGeek has it & I think it is exclusive through them. It's a two-sided She-Ra Costume Babydoll. It ranges from $20 to $21 depending on what size you need.

If you play your cards right, you could be a Princess of Power this holiday season!

Bow Ties Are Cool. (Not really, but whatever.)

Okay, Whovians, Thinkgeek has the Bow Tie of Bow Ties for you! The 11th Doctor's Bow Tie to be exact! Unfortunately, it looks as though they are already out of stock! However, you can get on the e-mail list to be notified when more show up. It fits necks 15-20" & when combined with any old tweed jacket & a sonic screwdriver, will complete your 11th Doctor Halloween costume! However, if you desire to have an exact replica of the 11th Doctor's jacket, you can fork over $329.99 for that at the same place, Thinkgeek. It too has sold out right now. Holy cow! Really?!

Lucky for you, Entertainment Earth has both as well. The jacket is available for $309.99 pre-order due to arrive in November & the bow tie is available to arrive in November for $29.99. Unfortunately that's after Halloween, but who cares, right?! You can dress as the Doctor any day!

Wooden Watch

ThinkGeek has a really sexy looking watch by WeWood. WeWood plants a tree for every watch sold & the watches they do sell are made from 100% natural, toxic-chemical free wood. How cool is that? Pretty freaking cool.

The watches that ThinkGeek offers are the Chrono model. They are $20.00 cheaper on ThinkGeek than on WeWood's site. Not to mention that you get pretty good Geek points for a $100 purchase at ThinkGeek to spend on other geeky goodies! WeWood does offer some other models though, if you don't like the Chrono.

The one above is the Date brown/army model. I really like it. It is listed for $119.00 on the WeWood site. Unfortunately, no Geek points go with it's purchase.
