Movie Set

Here is part of a very ambitious set I am painting. This is for a stop-animation movie featuring Halo figures. So far, just the base coat is layed on. Next, detailed bricks of stone. Think pyramids.

Jen Tucker Birthday Extravaganza

If you are wondering why I haven't Blogged in a while, its because I've been recovering from the Birthday Festivities. I had a great birthday and got lots of goodies. Turayis baked me a delicious cake. Marble with dark chocolate frosting. Yum!

More Plastic Dreams

Another sweet piece of plastic is the comic book version of HELLBOY brought to you by Mezco. This one is sweet because it is the truest comic art version that has been released. Sure, I love Ron Perlman and the movie versions are super cool, but it is really nice to see the 2D version in a 3D form finally.

Sweet Plastic!

I figure since this blog is art, love, & action figures, it's time for the action figure part. Marvel Legends has several really nice figures out. Right now the hardest to find (and if you find one, grab it for me!) is the Johnny Blaze morphing into Ghost Rider. Not to be confused with the no-morphing black jacket version. It has over 15 points of articulation (or bendy points for the non-toynerds) and comes with the old school motorcycle. Believe me, if you don't want it now, you will when the movie hits the theater in 2006.

I finally got to meet my favorite ACTOR!!! Ron Perlman. He's played Hellboy, Vincent, and tons of other roles. He was such a friendly fellow. I got a great autograph and this pic!




The EMPIRE also showed up, and were acosting small children!

Another work in progress

This is another piece I've been working on. Another piece of masonite/canvas will get attached to the lower left. I'm still trying to figure out how to attach it.

This is the "Organic Ball of Joy" from a dream I had. It was made of a nerf/stretch armstrong material, and when i hit things with it, they became joyful! It's not finished. It's a work in progress.

Cookies and Pumpkins

So, Turayis and I made cookies and carved pumpkins. It was a blast. Our cookies were gingerbread and our pumpkins turned out great!

Random Musings

So, I am completely new to this Blog thing. I feel like a very shy, young person. Unsure of myself. Nervous but hopeful. I have asked my friend Chris to help me out. He always helps me out in my time of computer need. I should be a better friend. It's still very hard for me. I'm so random and unorganized. Spotaneous. Well, as soon as i can get pics to post, I will. I will be posting pics of my art in progress. Writing about love, and what I feel about art. And hopefully the hottest action figure news.
