Does anyone know what these eventually turn into? I find them all the time when I dig, but I never know what they will become, and I would like to. I felt inspired by their digging and dirt and earth and wanted to paint one. So here one is. Does it "need" legs? I just noticed it doesn't have legs. Hmmm....

There are about 60 different kinds of grub worm. They turn into beetles. The most common is the June bug.
Wow, really? I did have hundreds of june bugs crawling forth this year, so that would make sense. Cool! Thanks Cindy!
